FAQS
A home inspection is a comprehensive assessment of a property's condition, including its structural, mechanical, and safety aspects. It's a crucial step in the home buying or selling process because it provides valuable information about the property's current state. Buyers can use inspection reports to make informed decisions, negotiate repairs with sellers, and avoid unexpected expenses after the purchase. Sellers can benefit by identifying and addressing issues upfront, potentially increasing their home's market value.
The duration of a home inspection can vary depending on the size, age, and condition of the property. On average, a standard home inspection takes between 2 to 4 hours. Larger or more complex homes may take longer, while smaller homes may take less time. It's essential to allocate enough time for a thorough inspection, as rushing through the process can result in overlooked issues. Afterward, your inspector will provide you with a detailed report, typically within 24-48 hours.
Yes, we encourage clients to attend the home inspection. Attending allows you to observe the process, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of the property's condition. It's an excellent opportunity to learn about maintenance and potential issues firsthand. If you cannot attend in person, you can still participate by scheduling a remote video walkthrough with our inspector. We aim to make the inspection process as transparent and informative as possible to ensure your peace of mind.
